For me, a stroll in the woods is a great way to recharge, but in early fall it is a particularly delightful time, with the fall colors beginning to show and the angle of the sun in the sky. This was shot on a trail at Potato Creek State Park in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Lois Tomaszewski is an award-winning photographer and journalist whose passion for natural beauty is a constant source of inspiration in her fine art photography. Tomaszewski believes that looking up, looking down and at all points in between allow the camera a chance to capture what may often go unseen. Her work is presented with very little manipulation, other than cropping or an occasional light adjustment if needed. She prescribes to the philosophy that what the camera captures at that moment is all that is needed to convey the nuances of a scene. Some of her favorite subjects are anything in nature, building architecture, patterns, and lines.
