About Lois Tomaszewski
Lois Tomaszewski is an award-winning photographer and journalist whose passion for natural beauty is a constant source of inspiration in her fine art photography. Tomaszewski believes that looking up, looking down and at all points in between allow the camera a chance to capture what may often go unseen. Her work is presented with very little manipulation, other than cropping or an occasional light adjustment if needed. She prescribes to the philosophy that what the camera captures at that moment is all that is needed to convey the nuances of a scene. Some of her favorite subjects are anything in nature, building architecture, patterns, and lines. One of her favorite landscapes is the Appalachian Mountains, having lived among the valleys, hills, and hollers of Western North Carolina for more than a decade, but she has the knack for spotting great vistas and heartfelt photos wherever she travels.
